West Waushacum Pond - 8-17-2014
0610 - Paddled the kayak straight back to the other side of the submerged island in the northeast end of the pond hoping to run into the bait fish pods that produced three 3+ lb'ers last weekend. They were there and so were the bass. First cast with a 1.5 KVD crankbait produced a small bass. Second cast produced a lot nicer bass. It was the biggest that I have caught out of this pond in the 5 times that I have been here. Fish put on a good fight and I loved every minute of it.
