Since this is a fishing related empire in the making, perhaps the user rankings could be more fishy. Say, minnow chaser for beginner, Master Fisherman for the top.

We should get EXTRA points for posting while fishing and bonus points if it is from the boat.
This would be regulated like small tournaments, on the honor system.

I like all those suggestions! I was thinking about changing the ranking around so it is more "fishy", but just need to come up with some creative ranks...i like both minnow chaser and master fisherman...if you have any additional ranks, please share.
The ranking system is still pretty basic right now, but i like your ideas for earning different points. I am also going to add the ability to rate photos, besides just rating trips and locations. So maybe we could have higher rated photos count as more points than lower ranking photos. This would be incentive to take nice pictures of big fish.
Any other ideas, please throw my way. I will add to my list of TODO.
