Devastation

The trip began on a beatiful summer day. A few hours on the water led to a lunch break on The Island. There we enjoyed a fabulous meal of grilled sausage and steak tips. Lunch was followed by a few more hours on the lake, enhance by the arrival of one Balduchi Bonadutch bringing with him the first shiners of the day. After a mostly slow day, fishing began to pick up in the afternoon in a small cove along the Southern shore. Much to our dimise the trip had to be ended due to lack of bait and abundance of consumed alcohol. On the way to shore, what began as a friendy game of "bumper canoes" ended tragically when one Jay "I take things too far" Bridge took things to far resulting in the capsizing of my canoe. Fortunately all fishing gear was saved and the only casualty was my cell phone (which really has to no place on the lake to begin with... Balcom).
